    1871 Longacre Dime in Silver
    Judd-1077, Attractively Toned PR65

    1871 10C Ten Cents, Judd-1077, Pollock-1213, High R.7, PR65 NGC. CAC. The obverse shows Longacre's Indian Princess motif (as implemented by William Barber) without stars, while the reverse shows the normal design for the year. Approximately six examples struck in silver are thought to exist, according to USPatterns.com. They were issued in complete sets from the half dime through silver dollar. Violet and cobalt-blue patination color the surfaces of this Gem, generating excellent eye appeal.
