1871 5C Five Cents, Judd-1054, Pollock-1189, High R.6, PR65 Brown NGC. CAC. Longacre's three cent nickel Liberty motif is adapted for the nickel, although the arrangement of the denomination and wreath is more reminiscent of the two cent piece. Struck in copper with a plain edge. A well struck specimen with pleasing preservation and light to medium powder-blue and lilac-gray patina.
