1871 Pattern Nickel Judd-1053
1871 5C Five Cents, Judd-1053, Pollock-1188, R.6, PR63 NGC. Liberty head obverse, facing left, wearing a coronet. Simple laurel wreath and denomination reverse. Struck in nickel with a plain edge. A bit softly struck, seemingly a normal trait of this pattern issue, with a few scattered carbon flecks on each side.Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2A2P, PCGS# 61312, GSID# 14032)
