Judd-1317, Struck in Copper

1873 T$1 Trade Dollar, Judd-1317, Pollock-1460, Low R.7, PR66 Brown PCGS. Ex: Simpson. Bailly's Liberty design is seated facing left on the obverse with cotton bales, tobacco plants, and wheat sheaves around. The Mint hired Philadelphia sculptor Joseph Alexis Bailly to produce designs for the Trade dollar during the early 1870s. This is one of his creations.
