Judd-1449, PR65 Cameo
Two Confirmed Examples

1875 $20 Double Eagle, Judd-1449, Pollock-1595, High R.7, PR65 Cameo PCGS. CAC. Ex: Simpson. The regular double eagle design for the year, but struck in aluminum with a reeded edge. This is one of two examples confirmed by Saul Teichman of USPatterns.com.

Fully brilliant without mentionable haziness or carbon flecks, the surfaces are also free of grade-limiting hairlines. An appreciably Cameo-contrasted specimen with fully defined features. There is a small lamination (as produced) in the upper obverse field near star 7.
