    1875 20C Sailor Head Twenty Cents, Judd-1392, Pollock-1535, Low R.6, PR65 Cameo NGC. The William Barber "Sailor Head" design. A coronet reading LIBERTY adorns a Liberty head, the hair tied with a ribbon. The reverse displays a shield with 20; the word CENTS is at the lower border. Arrows, leaves, and a glory of rays decorate the shield, and UNITED STATES OF AMERICA encircles the periphery. Struck in silver with a plain edge. A gorgeous Gem Cameo proof with lustrous silver-gray devices that are surrounded by deeply reflective steel and gunmetal-blue fields. A few tiny flecks include one in the left obverse field a little above and right of star 2. Census: 1 in 65 Cameo; no Cameos finer (3/13).
