1875 20C Sailor Head Twenty Cents, Judd-1395, Pollock-1538, High R.7, PR64 Cameo PCGS. CAC. The popular Sailor Head design of William Barber, here on a pattern for a twenty cent piece. The reverse has a "spade-type" shield with 20 incuse, rays above the shield, two arrows, and an olive branch at the lower shield border. UNITED STATES OF AMERICA / CENTS encircles the rim. Struck in nickel with a plain edge. The depth of mirrored fields establishes the background for the thickly frosted devices.
