Extremely Rare 1875 Aluminum $3
1875 $3 Three Dollar, Judd-1437, High R.7--Corroded, Cleaned--ANACS. Proof, Net Proof 50. A regular dies trial piece that was struck in aluminum with a reeded edge. An attempt was made to remove some surface roughness that resulted in an overall grainy appearance. Still, a very desirable example of this exceedingly rare pattern three dollar coin.
