A pattern Morgan dollar, showing the adopted obverse with a reverse that displays a broad and imposing "shield type" eagle with spread wings. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. Another pristine, full red pattern dollar from the Genaitis Collection. The surfaces show even, cherry-red color over both sides with occasional flashes of lime-green here and there.
