1879 $1 Morgan Dollar, Judd-1616, Pollock-1812, High R.6, PR65 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. The obverse depicts the regular dies design for the Morgan dollar, while the reverse features an eagle with spread wings holding an olive branch in its right talon and three long arrows in his left. Above is the legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA and the motto E PLURIBUS UNUM. ONE DOLLAR is below. E PLURIBUS UNUM appears on both sides. Struck in copper with a reeded edge. This fully struck specimen is bathed in peach-gold, lavender-red, and lime-green patina. The mirrors are flashy and no detractions are apparent.
