1882 5C Liberty Head Five Cents, Judd-1690, Pollock-1892, R.5, PR62 PCGS Secure. A popular precursor to the Liberty nickel. Dated 1882 instead of 1883, and the stars are arranged differently relative to the portrait, particularly star 10. The reverse is identical to the issued 1883 No Cents nickel. Struck in nickel with a plain edge. Blue-green, rose, violet, and golden tones cover each side. Faint marks are well-hidden and undistracting.
