    RB 42-70-X-4, Complete Trial Impression

    1942 1C Experimental Amber Glass Cent, RB 42-70-X-4, R.7, MS64 NGC. 1.67 grams, 20.38 mm. (vertical), Specific Gravity 2.50. A complete impression in yellow-amber glass with the design elements, legends, and date all clearly visible, this piece has an irregularly clipped excess flange. The surfaces exhibit myriad bubbles and a noticeably group of linear cracks at the upper obverse and others at the lower reverse. Both faces are rough from the bubbles and other irregularities.
