1942 World War II Pattern, PR66
Judd-2063, Tan Plastic

1942 1C Judd-2063, Pollock-4025, Low R.7, PR66 NGC. The obverse portrait of Liberty is taken from the KM-198 Columbia two centavos. The reverse wreath was formerly used on Baker-155 Washington medalets. The central reverse states UNITED STATES MINT instead of a denomination. Struck in tan plastic with a plain edge. Burdette's Third Reverse. The light tan surfaces has a matte-like texture that makes the surfaces seem to sparkle. An interesting and well-preserved World War II pattern.
