    1942 Brown Plastic Cent
    Judd-2060 (2067), RB 42-57, SP63

1942 P1C Cent, Judd-2060, Pollock-4035, Low R.7, SP63 PCGS. RB 42-57. Burdette's First Reverse. Labeled as Brown Plastic and attributed as a Judd-2060. This example has medium-brown color overall and crazing is remarkably pronounced on the obverse, much less so on the reverse. The number 5 was scratched into the lower-right obverse field. As expected, the edge is uniformly square, but a very faint perpendicular line can just barely be made out on the lower part of the rim from the molded edge. The quantity produced is unknown.
