Liberty head design as adopted for the regular issue a year later, surrounded by UNITED STATES OF AMERICA with the date below. Roman numeral V on the reverse with E PLURIBUS UNUM above an agricultural wreath. Narrow dentils. Struck in nickel with a plain edge. One of a dozen or more Judd-1684 examples extant, this top-quality PR66+ Cameo coin enjoys pristine, profoundly contrasted surfaces and an overlay of thin golden patina.
