    Description

PCGS 1859 Indian Cent, Judd-227, R.6, MS 64. Regular dies obverse from 1859 paired with a different reverse that features an oak wreath with a broad, ornamented shield at the top. Struck in copper-nickel with a plain edge. Not completely struck up on the tips of the feathers of the headdress, but in every other way a lovely coin that exhibits soft, mellowed red and orange-red color intermixed over the surfaces.
