Description
Private "1876 $100 Gold Union" Ultra Cameo Gem Proof NGC. Five ounces of 999 Fine gold. Struck by the private New York Mint in 2005. The designs are based on sketches by Mint engraver George T. Morgan for a proposed $100 gold coin. One of the first 300 struck, although the actual mintage is unknown. A cherry-wood presentation case is included.Coin Index Numbers: (PCGS# 62401)
