    Description

    Rare Titanium Pattern

Undated (1976-78) One Dollar, Unlisted in Judd, Pollock-5445, R.7(?), PR 66. An exciting modern pattern and the first example we have handled. The obverse has an aged portrait of Washington facing right with the Washington monument behind and to his left, and above is GOULD INCORPORATED TITANIUM. The reverse has the Great Seal of the United States with a circle of pellets around the constellation of stars above the eagle's head. Struck in titanium with a plain edge. A pristine piece that shows just the slightest hint of golden patina at the margins.

    Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2AHA, PCGS# 62000)
