Probably Unique DuPont Explosion Bonded Detaclad Ingot

Undated (ca. 1964) P25C DuPont Detaclad Ingot. An ingot of DuPont's "Explosion Bonded Detaclad" that was used to produce that company's experimental alloy trial pieces. The ingot measures 54 x 30 x 12 mm and has three layers. The layers appear to be brass, nickel, and bronze, but frankly, this is just a guess. The wording EXPLOSION BONDED DETACLAD is also seen on the few pattern coins produced by DuPont. Most likely a unique item. Accompanied by an envelope from Jules with the enigmatic notes: D-1 / group 2 / 5. Jules is cited as one of two persons, the other being Kenn Henderson, on page 447 of Pollock's reference who had information about these pieces.
