    General Motors Pattern Cent, Pollock-4060
    MS62 Red and Brown

Undated (ca. 1967) General Motors Pattern Cent, Pollock-4060, R.5, MS62 Red and Brown NGC.
An experimental striking on the General Motors roller press with the head of Liberty facing left on the obverse, a wreath on the reverse, and nonsensical legends on each side. Control code 27-M. Struck in copper with a plain edge. Somewhat ill-defined at the borders, this piece has pleasing medium brown surfaces with splashes of original orange color, especially on the reverse.
