1921 Peace Dollar, MS66
Above-Average Strike
1921 $1 MS66 NGC. CAC. Ex: "Col." E.H.R. Green. A Premium
Gem is the finest grade most collectors will encounter when seeking
a 1921 Peace dollar. NGC and PCGS combined have graded only 13
examples finer (9/13). As might be expected for the numerical grade
and CAC label, this MS66 specimen was better struck than the
average 1921, as seen on this piece by a good amount of design
detail in the centers, areas that are usually flat or near so. Both
sides yield vibrant luster and are colorfully toned in yellow- and
greenish-gold and lavender. It is important to note that 1921 Peace
dollars that are well-struck and fully lustrous command a
