Description

1921 High Relief Peace Dollar, MS66
Famous One-Year Type

1921 $1 MS66 NGC. The 1921 High Relief Peace dollar is easily one of the most famous single-year types in American numismatics. Examples are obtainable through MS66, though they are very scarce at that level. Bright silver surfaces showcase dappled crimson accents near the borders. Every design element, including the date and eagle's shoulder, is strongly defined, save for the strands of hair over Liberty's ear, as always. The fields and cheek are impeccably preserved. Six finer examples at NGC (11/17).
