Description
Sharply Detailed 1921 Peace Dollar, MS66
1921 $1 MS66 PCGS. Delicate splashes of gold toning grace the ivory surfaces of this lovely coin. Both sides have full satin luster, and the most remarkable aspect of this piece is the strike. Although not fully struck, this piece is more intricately detailed than most. For example, the boundary line between the hair and cheek is full and complete, as is the similar boundary between the eagle's wing and leg. Only six finer examples of this date have been certified by PCGS (4/07).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 2U4E, PCGS# 7356, Greysheet# 7887)
