Description
1921 $1 Peace, Ray Through L MS65 NGC. VAM-3. A Top 50 Variety. This seldom seen VAM variety is significant because the ray through the first L in DOLLAR has been hand-engraved on the working die, such that the ray passes over rather than under the letter. A number of tiny die lines are visible around the adjacent rays. Honey, sky-blue, and charcoal colors visit this lustrous and minimally marked Gem. The hair is a trifle weak, but the rest of the details are fully struck.
