Description

1922-S Peace Dollar, MS65+
CAC-Approved; Scarce in 65+ and Above

1922-S $1 MS65+ PCGS. CAC. A gossamer of champagne-gold coloration coats the surfaces of this resplendent Gem, complete with a hint of lilac on the obverse. The weakness on the lower strands of hair is endemic of this issue, as the mint lowered striking pressure to improve die life. Beginning with the presently offered 65+ grade level, certified populations fall fast, with high rates of circulation and a prevalence of bagmarks contributing to this conditional scarcity. Population: 72 in 65+, 32 finer (10/25).(Registry values: N1793)
