1923 $1 MS67 ★ NGC. Potent, frost-white luster adorns the
mint-fresh surfaces of this Superb Gem 1923 Peace dollar. This
magnificent, never-dipped type coin is fully deserving of the Star
designation. The strike is sharp, and the eye appeal is superb. In
MS67, this available Philadelphia issue is among the most plentiful
in the series, but finer coins are unknown. This piece is the only
Star- or Plus-designated Superb Gem at NGC, arguably the finest at
