1923-D $1 MS66 NGC. Cartwheel luster blasts through the deep apple-green, plum-mauve, and autumn-gold patina. A high mintage issue, but rare at the MS66 level and unavailable any finer. The right obverse border displays an interesting network of slender die cracks. In a former generation holder.
