1923-D Peace Dollar, MS66
Intense Mint Luster
1923-D $1 MS66 NGC. With its fantastic, faintly frosty
luster and its stunning eye appeal, this Premium Gem is a winner in
every respect. It is largely untoned save for hints of patina at
the right margins, green-gold on the obverse with olive and orange
shadings on the reverse. Surveying both grading services, only NGC
has certified one coin finer (11/17). From the #5 NGC Registry Set
of Peace dollars, circulation issue (all coins).Ex: West Palm Beach Signature (Heritage, 7/2009), lot 1061.
