1923-S Peace Dollar, MS65
Conditionally Challenging Issue
1923-S $1 MS65 NGC. Attractively toned in peach-gold and
sky-blue. Lustrous and well struck for the issue with no
conspicuous marks. The 1923-S was struck in prodigious quantity but
few were set aside, unlike the much lower mintage 1921 Peace
dollar. Encapsulated in a prior generation holder, and essentially
unobtainable any finer. Census: 76 in 65, 1 finer (3/10).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 257H, PCGS# 7362, Greysheet# 7902)
