Uncommonly Appealing Gem 1923-S Peace Dollar
1923-S $1 MS65 NGC. This is a glorious Gem example of this popular S-mint Peace dollar issue, one commonly seen in circulated grades but seldom at the MS65 level. Satiny luster abounds on the silver-gray surfaces of this Gem, which adds daubs of amber-pink patina near the obverse rims. The reverse includes deeper sprinkles of cinnamon. The strike is well-executed, and the obverse shows an interesting peripheral die crack around much of that side. Uncommonly appealing.
