Description
1923-S $1 MS65 NGC. Thick mint frost resides beneath a thin golden veil on the obverse, and rich honey-gold and gunmetal-blue toning on the reverse. The strike is lacking slightly in central definition, though the outstanding preservation of the surfaces fully balances the eye appeal. The 1923-S is readily available in Choice and lower grades, but is scarce at the Gem level and decidedly rare any finer.
