Description
Lustrous Gem Uncirculated 1923-S Dollar
1923-S $1 MS65 PCGS. The 1923-S set a record for an S-mint Peace dollar with more than 19 million pieces produced. However, many were placed into circulation and the remaining coins seem to be uniformly unattractive and weakly struck. This is a bright, vibrant example that has superior luster characteristics. The obverse is especially sharp, but the reverse displays the usual soft definition on the eagle's feathers. Essentially brilliant, there is just the slightest hint of color present on each side of this attractive Gem. Population: 79 in 65, 3 finer (2/06).From The Robert Moreno Registry Collection of Peace Dollars.(Registry values: N2998)
