Description

Brilliant 1923-S Peace Dollar, MS65

1923-S $1 MS65 PCGS. The 1923-S dollar usually comes poorly struck (David Bowers, 2006). Our Gem offering in this lot displays better-than-average definition, as evidenced by the sharpness in most of Liberty's hair. White surfaces exude bright luster, and are well preserved save for a few grade-consistent marks. Only four coins have been certified in a higher numerical grade by NGC and PCGS combined (4/10).(Registry values: N2998)
