1923-S Peace Dollar, MS65
Iridescent Rainbow Toning
1923-S $1 MS65 PCGS. This San Francisco date is seldom seen
without marks or with an adequate strike, yet this example displays
nice luster and colorful toning over satiny, minimally marked
surfaces. The strike is sharp for the issue, with only slight
blending on the hair strands adjoining Liberty's cheek and on the
eagle's central feathers. PCGS has certified just three numerically
higher pieces (1/15).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 257H, PCGS# 7362, Greysheet# 7902)
