Thick Mint Luster
1924 $1 MS67 NGC. Booming luster sweeps across both sides of
this well-struck and impeccably preserved Superb Gem. Light
chestnut streaks are equally in force on each side. While the
strike is strong and marks are almost non-existent, it is really
the thick mint luster that gives this coin its special appeal. NGC
has certified only one coin finer (6/16).Ex: Long Beach Signature (Heritage, 2/2007), lot 5856.(Registry values: N2998)
