1924-S $1 MS64+ PCGS. CAC. A silver-white near-Gem of this more elusive S-mint issue, the present piece displays complete cartwheel luster that is more characteristic of a Morgan dollar than a Peace. The strike somewhat soft through the centers, with a dig at the base of Liberty and a couple of hits on the eagle. Good eye appeal despite the abrasions.(Registry values: N991)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 257K, PCGS# 7364, Greysheet# 7903)
