Description
1925 $1 MS64 PCGS. VAM-5. A Top 50 Variety. The 'Missing Ray' VAM. The reverse die was lapped at the Philadelphia Mint to remove clashmarks, and the ray northeast of the leg feathers was inadvertently scrubbed completely from the die. Deeply toned in lilac, autumn-brown, and sea-green. A horizontal mark is noted on the eagle above DOLLAR.
