1925-S Peace Dollar, MS65
Conditionally Rare
1925-S $1 MS65 NGC. The 1925-S Peace dollar is an important
condition rarity within the short-lived series. San Francisco
coined Peace dollars from 1922 to 1928, and the Great Depression
stalled production until 1934. Most issues are condition rarities
in MS65 or finer, and the poor strike on most 1925-S pieces
contributes to its rarity in high grades. This Premium Gem is much
sharper than normal and displays delicate gold toning layered in
frosty, silver luster on exceptionally smooth surfaces.Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2023), lot 3542.(Registry values: N4719)
