Splendid Gem 1925-S Peace Dollar
1925-S $1 MS65 NGC. For advanced Peace dollar specialists, the acquisition of a Gem 1925-S represents an important step toward the completion of the finest quality set. NGC and PCGS have combined to certify 92 submissions as MS65, but neither service has graded even one finer example. This Gem is highly lustrous with fully brilliant, untoned silver surfaces and few marks of any sort. The strike is well above average, but even this piece has evidence of slight weakness at the centers, especially evident on the obverse.
