1925-S Peace Dollar, MS65
None Finer at PCGS

1925-S $1 MS65 PCGS. The 1925-S Peace dollar claims a smallish mintage of 1.6 million pieces and the issue was not well-produced. In A Guide Book of Peace Dollars, Roger W. Burdette notes the 1925-S was "the most poorly struck Peace dollar" and "perhaps the most difficult coin to find in high grades." This spectacular Gem representative offers a better-than-average strike for the issue, but some of the usual softness is still evident on Liberty's hair and the eagle's leg. The well-preserved surfaces radiate vibrant mint luster from both sides and a few delicate highlights of golden-tan toning enhance the considerable eye appeal.
