Description
Conditionally Rare Gem 1925-S Peace Dollar
1925-S $1 MS65 PCGS. Untoned and without appreciable surface marks. An unusual 1925-S Peace Dollar, not only because it has survived as a Gem, but due to its excellent strength of strike and hard, satiny sheen combined with a near-absence of mint frost. One of the most difficult issues in the series as an MS65, being currently unknown any finer. Housed in an early PCGS holder. Population: 31 in 65, none finer at either service (1/05).(#7366) (Registry values: N4719)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 257M, PCGS# 7366, Greysheet# 7904)
