Doubled Die Obverse

1926 $1 MS66+ PCGS. CAC. VAM-3A. The lower obverse is lightly die doubled, including the monogram and the tip of the 6 in the date. A dull die scratch beneath the V in TRVST confirms the later die state. A lustrous, brilliant, and nicely struck Premium Gem. The reverse is particularly well preserved. Population: 187 in 66 (4 in 66+), 0 finer (3/14).(Registry values: N1793)
