Description

1926-D $1 MS66 PCGS. CAC. Ex: California. This is a glimmering, mint-fresh dollar with remarkably clean, brilliant luster and sharp motifs. There are no mentionable abrasions on either side, although we must disclose that the only thing keeping this coin from an even finer grade is a single, faint graze in the left obverse field that appears at a certain angle beneath a light. Liberty's cheek is essentially flawless. Only eight Superb Gems are finer at PCGS (4/17).(Registry values: N1793)
