Very Rare in Finer Grades
1927 $1 MS65 PCGS. CAC. Lustrous surfaces add to the eye
appeal of this brilliant untoned Gem. Scattered marks held this
attractive piece from an even higher grade. From a low mintage of
848,000 pieces, the 1927 Peace dollar is a scarce issue in MS65 and
finer examples are very rare. PCGS and NGC combined have awarded
higher numeric grades to only 10 examples (11/13).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 257S, PCGS# 7370, Greysheet# 7895)
