Description
1927 $1 MS65 PCGS. Light to medium almond-gold toning with powder-blue highlights at the rim add a natural glow to this lustrous and lower-mintage Peace dollar. Liberty's hair strands are sharply struck, as is the eagle's plumage and the reverse legend. Marks are generally small and inconsequential, although a small hit is noted above the bridge of the nose at eyebrow level. Liberty's cheek is smooth and attractive. PCGS reports just 15 numerically finer coins (11/16).(Registry values: N1793)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 257S, PCGS# 7370, Greysheet# 7895)
