1927-S $1 MS64 PCGS. VAM-3. A Top 50 Variety. The eagle's branch is lightly die doubled. The VAM is undesignated on the insert because the green label holder precedes the 1998 discovery of the variety by Jeff Oxman. Lustrous and lightly toned with a good strike and a couple of faint marks on the eagle.
