Impressive Semi-Key Date Gem 1927-S Peace Dollar
1927-S $1 MS65 NGC. A scarce semi-key date Peace dollar with an impressively low mintage of only 866,000 pieces. The surfaces of this coin show the satiny brilliance that is common to this issue. Well struck, there are no reportable abrasions on either side of this lovely Gem. A faint blush of lilac patina can be seen near the center of each side, but the surfaces are mostly untoned, with a deep silver-gray sheen. Just one example of this San Francisco production has been certified at a finer grade level, by NGC (2/06).From The Robert Moreno Registry Collection of Peace Dollars.(Registry values: N4719)
