1927-S $1 MS65 NGC. The 1927-S Peace dollar has a small recorded mintage of 866,000 pieces, and it is one of the rarest issues in the series at the Gem level. The present coin is a pleasing Gem specimen, with a sharply detailed strike, and highly lustrous surfaces. Lovely golden toning is seen around the margins.
