1928 Peace Dollar, MS65
Distinctly Toned
1928 $1 MS65 NGC. CAC. The most famous key date in the Peace
dollar series, the 1928 is not the rarest in MS65 condition but is
of course a desirable coin in such a well-preserved state. This Gem
has gold-gray, peach, and tan toning over both sides with a
distinct curve of pearl-gray through the right reverse field. NGC
has certified only two examples as MS66 or finer (4/13).(Registry values: N2998)Coin Index Numbers: (NGC ID# 257V, PCGS# 7373, Greysheet# 7896)
