Description

1928 Peace Dollar, MS65
Lowest Mintage in the Series

1928 $1 MS65 NGC. The 1928 has the lowest mintage in the Peace dollar series with only 360,649 pieces struck and examples of this issue have always been in great demand by collectors. This problem-free Gem has light ivory-gray toned surfaces with the usual satiny mint luster. The striking details are complete, but as usual appear to be lightly impressed into the coin; this is especially evident when compared to, say, a 1922 or 1923.(Registry values: N2998)
